Key Lime Pie

Prep: 10  Minutes  I Bake  time: 25 – 30  Minutes   I Serving 1 whole d 18cm  


75 gr  Cassava Flour 
35 gr  Maize Starch 
½ tsp Vanilla Powder/ Bean 
3 tbsp Icing Sugar 
50 gr Butter Unsalted 
2 Egg Yolk 
3-4 tbsp Cold Water 

300ml  Fresh milk 
2      Egg yolk 
25 gr Cassava flour 
3 tbsp Sugar
50 gr Butter 
Lime zest 
100 gr condensed milk  
250 gr Fresh cream



  1. Heat the oven into 170 Celsius


  1. Beat the butter and sugar together until the mixture is light in color and fluffy 
  2. Add the egg yolk
  3. Add the cassava flour, corn starch, vanilla powder, and cold water. Mix it.
  4. Knead it with your hand until it smooth and well blended.
  5. Flatten the dough into the pan and cut it with the ring 
  6. Give it a few pokes with a fork to support airflow 
  7. Bake it with for 15-20 minutes in 170 Celsius 


  1.  Mix fresh milk, cassava flour, egg yolk, sugar, condensed milk until smooth
  2. Cook and stir it until smooth and thick over the low heat
  3. Add the water and lime zest 
  4. Set aside


  1. Pour the batter into the lined loaf tin and bake for 20 minutes in 170 Celsius until slightly golden brown
  2. Transfer to a cooling rack. 


  1. Decorate with cream on the pie crust 
  2. Enjoy!
PRO TIP: After the crust baked in the oven, put it in the refrigerator and let it cool for about 2-3 hours.  After that you can decorate it with whipped cream, lime or other toppings you desire.
