1 box of Fusilli Pasta
1 cup of butternut squash puree
1 cup of half and half
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
8 oz of spinach
Parsley for topping
Optional: We ended up adding additional seasoning + other ingredients to enhance the taste but this is totally optional!
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Grated whiskey cheese
1 cup of Italian breadcrumbs
Directions:
1. Puree your butternut squash in a food processor then add that plus the paprika, nutmeg, lemon pepper seasoning and half and half in large skillet or medium wok. Stir and then add your spinach. Add any additional seasoning for your preference
2. Cook your pasta and once it's done add to the skillet and mix throughly until all the noodles are coated
3. OPTIONAL: We decided to toss this into a casserole dish and bake it for 10 mins at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Before putting it in the oven, we grated some whiskey cheese (you can buy this at Aldi or use whatever you cheese you desire) and topped it with Italian breadcrumbs
