1 box of Fusilli Pasta
1/2 lb of sirloin strips (Jewel sells pre cut ones for stroganoff!)
1 large onion
10 oz of sliced mushrooms
3 tbsp of butter
2 tbsp of flour
2 cups of beef broth
1 tbsp of dijon mustard
2/3 cup of sour cream
Salt and pepper
Chives for garnish
1. Cut your strips of beef into smaller cuts and season with salt and pepper. Cook on a large skillet with oil for 30 seconds on each side. Beef cooks really quick so it's okay if there's red/pink still on it. It will cook once it's with the beef broth!
2. Add your butter and cook the onions till tender and add mushrooms. Cook till golden and soft.
3. Add your flour and stir then half the broth (1 cup) and stir. Once everything is mixed in well add the other cup of beef broth and stir. Add sour cream and dijon mustard and stir.
4. Let it simmer for a while and once it's thickened add the beef. Simmer for 1-1.5 minutes then serve!
